By Plane: From Thessaloniki Airport to Nikiti

The nearest airport to Halkidiki is Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia” (SKG), located about 85 km from Nikiti. It serves international flights from all over Europe, especially from Balkan countries like Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia.

How to continue from the airport:

• By Rental Car: The easiest and fastest option. Car rentals are available directly at the airport. From there, it’s a 1-hour scenic drive to Nikiti.
• Private Transfer: Book a taxi or private transfer (contact us in case you need a taxi, we can help) in advance for a hassle-free ride.
• Bus Connection: Take bus No. (79) 79A, 79B or 79K from the airport to KTEL Halkidiki, then follow the bus instructions below.

By Car: The Most Popular Way from Southeast Europe

Approximate distances to Nikiti:

• From Sofia: 400 km (approx. 5 hours)
• From Skopje: 270 km (approx. 4 hours)

• From Belgrade: 630 km (approx. 7 hours)

Once you reach Thessaloniki, simply follow the signs for Halkidiki / Sithonia via the national road (EO Thessalonikis-Neas Moudanion). From Nea Moudania, follow the road towards Nikiti and Sithonia.

Buses to Nikiti depart daily from the KTEL Halkidiki Bus Station in Thessaloniki. You can reach the station by taxi or city bus from the airport or centre.

• Tickets: Purchase at the station or online (recommended during peak season)

Once in Nikiti, Summer House is just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bus stop.
